The 3/4 Plank
The 3/4 plank is a static exercise for toning and strengthening the stomach muscles. The 3/4 is the beginners version of the full plank. The full plank is a great exercise for strengthening the transverse abdominus, and should only be done once the 3/4 becomes too easy.

The Crunch
The crunch is a basic yet very effective exercise for toning and strengthening the stomach area. There are various ways of doing the crunch.... You can do them on the floor, on a bench, on an exercise ball, with weights etc. We're going to focus on the floor version as you can do it anywhere and don't need any equipment.
